ARB 4Runner Front Summit Bumper - Sensor Friendly

Toyota’s popular 2020+ 4Runner featured a number of updates including the addition of Adaptive Cruise Control as part of the Toyota Safety Sense system. A new ARB Summit Bar has been developed to allow relocation of the Adaptive Cruise Control system within the split pan of the Summit pan and also now accommodates the original equipment (OE) foglights in an ARB developed fog light surround.

Importantly for both the Adaptive Cruise Control and the OE foglights full OE adjustment is retained.

The ARB Summit bar features press form cover straps, fog light surround to accommodate OE fog lights, three piece split pan grill with access door for winch clutch operation and a recessed winch control box mount for a sleek, integrated appearance.

The dynamic nature of the 4Runner chassis requires clearance for the ARB bar and the fenders and grill of the 4Runner. To achieve this necessary clearance the wings of the bar have been designed and developed to both follow the OE bumper and to sit beneath the bumper on the outer edges.

Please note this bar replaces the 3421560/K variants and is compatible with 4Runners 2014 onwards. Due to the different front bumper of the 4Runner Limited and TRD models the ARB Summit Bar is not recommended fitment to these models.

Fog Lights:

ARB’s reduced fog light surround is featured in the ARB Summit Bar for the Prado 150 to accept the OE LED foglight.

The fog light surround is supplied in a natural black finish to complement the buffer design.

A clear fog light cover has been developed separately under part number 3500680.

Adaptive Cruise Control:

ARB Summit Bar now includes provision for relocation of the Adaptive Cruise Control to within the split pan of the bar assembly.

Full adjustment of the Adaptive Cruise Control module is retained and is accessed through the split pan grill. To allow regular cleaning and maintenance of the adaptive cruise control module, an Adaptive Cruise Control cover is included in the bar fitting kit.

Please ensure that customers are aware that driver assistance features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s judgement. Full adaptive cruise control functions may not operate in some driving conditions and road conditions or adverse weather.

Pressed Top Pan and Winch Cover:

The top pan of the Summit range of bars feature a press form to add strength and a 4mm aluminium press formed winch cover panel, for when no winch is being fitted.

When fitted the winch cover panel is recessed in the press form top pan to give a level and integrated appearance.

The cover is supplied in a textured black powder coat finish.

Centre and Wing Underpanels:

To provide valuable airflow to the intercooler and lower radiator, the centre 2mm sheet steel stone shield features laser cut and press form apertures.

Wing panels provide protection for the low mount washer bottle.

Antenna Mounts:

Two aerial mounts are welded to the centre cross tube to allow fitment of UHF/AM radio and mobile phone aerials/antennas.

Synchro pulse controlled welding is used for a visually appealing weld with seam quality that is comparable with that of a TIG weld.

Winch Model Fitment:

The ARB Summit Winch bar for the Toyota 4Runner fits the following winches:

• Warn M8000, XD9000, 9.5XP, 9.5XDC
• Warn ZEON 8, 8-S, 10 and 10-S
• Warn ZEON Platinum 10 and 10-S
• Warn VR EVO 8, 8-S,10 and 10-S
• Smittybilt Gen2 X20 10K

The Summit bar has an integrated control box mount that recesses the control box lower in the pan. Different mount holes and control box brackets are provided to suit different winches. Winch fitting kit instructions have further information as to which mount hole or bracket is suitable.

Please note that not all winches on the market will have mount holes pre-drilled.

Additional fit kits are required depending on the winch being fitted:

• 3501030 WINCH INSTALL KIT | SUITS 4RUNNER 3421570/K. This kit includes a flip up number plate bracket designed to work with the relocated Adaptive Cruise Control unit and control box mount require dependent on winch modle being installed.
• Warn ZEON and ZEON Platinum fitment require Warn part No W89965 Short Wiring Kit.
• Warn ZEON Platinum fitment may require Warn part No W94288 Enhanced Signal Kit.
• Warn VR EVO require Warn part No W106928 Kit Wire Extension VR EVO
• Winches with Synthetic rope require Part No 3500600 Hawse Fairlead Adapter Kit

Driving Light Mounts:

The press formed top pan includes laser cut holes for fitment of a range of compatible driving lights including ARB Intensity, ARB Solis, Bushranger and IPF 800, 808 and 900 Series lights.

Pinning holes for ARB Intensity lights are included.

It is recommended that driving lights are fitted at the time of bar fitment.

LED Clearance Light / Turn Signals:

Press form apertures in each wing are provided to fit ARB’s LED clearance light / turn signal.

ARB Jack and Hi-Lift Jack Points:

Hi-Lift jack points are located directly below the buffers.

The Hi-Lift jack point is welded directly to the upright on either side and is designed to prevent the Hi-Lift jack from interfering with the buffer.
